ABOUT
The Internationale Sommerakademie am Rhein is a summer academy in Germany, near Strasbourg, which gives to some young singers the opportunity to improve their singing technique, their diction in foreign languages and their way of evolving on stage. During two weeks (from the 23rd of July to the 6th of August 2023), ten or twelve singers and 5 pianists will received advices from prestigious artists in different languages (german, french and english) and will also become acquainted with the universe of auditions and all which concernes the "business" side of a singer.
For this eighth edition of the academy, Prof. Jean-Noël Briend, international soloist and Professor at the High School of Music in Dresden chose to surround himself with the former Head of Music Staff of the Komische Oper of Berlin and former assistant of the Generalmusikdirektor at the Hessiche Staatstheater Wiesbaden Christina Domnick, who will also lead a workshop on "how to follow a conductor", the great stage director Robert Lehmeier, the mezzo-soprano and yoga-teacher Petra Gruber, the famous vocal coach Irene Kudela (Masterclass the 31st of July and the 1st of August) and for the pianists the soprano and ex-teacher of musical accompaniment at the High Music School Strasbourg, Judith Gauthier.
Jolanta Nicolai, agency "All you need", will be there for a two days workshop.
